Dr Vicki Wedel was one of the best parts of our University faculty. Not only was she a world renown forensic scientist and author, she was an educator and faculty member at Western University who's energy and light touched all that had the chance to interact with her.
Always going the extra mile for her students, she was one of the reasons transitioning to online learning during the pandemic was so successful. Always a base of support and having an open door to offer guidance and support for her students, the loss of Dr Vicki Wedel is a tremendous one.
This is why we'd like to offer our support to her husband Dr Matt Wedel and son London so that they may make arrangements without the additional strain of financial burdens.
