Help Eugene’s Recovery & Support His Family

Eugene’s journey has been nothing short of a battle, beginning with a rare bone cancer in 1995, followed by multiple surgeries, and years of treatment. After overcoming these initial hurdles, Eugene found his passion in helping others as a doctor. Unfortunately, life threw more challenges his way. In 2014, he was diagnosed with pseudomyxoma peritonei, and despite promising treatments, his health has continued to decline.

This year, Eugene faced a devastating setback. After a series of complications and intensive treatments for a bowel obstruction, Eugene was diagnosed with septic shock, putting his life in danger. After months of hospital stays, treatments, and multiple surgeries, Eugene is currently fighting to recover enough to start his much-needed chemotherapy and return to helping others.

Unfortunately, Eugene’s self-employed status as a doctor means that with his health challenges, there has been no income coming in. With medical bills mounting, and no access to insurance or income protection, the financial strain is overwhelming. Eugene’s wife, who is retired, has been his primary caregiver, but they now face the very real possibility of losing their home and everything they’ve worked for.
