Dr. Scott Howard's last dream

My Father unexpectedly passed away on November 20th of 2016. He was a life long educator and his last dream was to establish a STEM school in Lawrence county Ohio to better serve the education needs of the less fortunate area of Appalachian Ohio - this is the only county left in the state without a dedicated STEM school and will be open to counties in Kentucky and West Virginia that are also without one. A STEM school focuses on science, technology, engineering, math, and medical training. He worked tirelessly over the last 3 years of his life to get proper funding via investors, get laws changed/passed to better serve the surrounding communities in northern Kentucky and West Virginia, contractors to build the facilities, and to start recruiting students who expect MORE from their education. He had most of the pieces in place but without his unwavering dedication and work ethic, this dream has become less of a certainty. His dream has now become my dream. I'm asking for your help to secure funding for not only the completion of a project that will help generation after generation of children, but also make sure the school is named after him so that it will never be forgotten that this was HIS way of helping kids in an often forgotten area. 

I'm fortunate enough to have been able to call my Dad my best friend. For everything he did for me, this is the least I can do to help make his dream a realization.
