Roger McMurray died tragically on Sunday, December 17, 2023 while providing assistance to passengers in a wreck he came upon while traveling with his wife and children who waited in their car nearby. He was struck and killed by a truck that lost control. Roger graduated from East Carolina University Brody School of Medicine and went on to complete his residency with Atrium Health, Cabarrus Family Medicine in Concord, NC. Roger was a loving husband and father and a compassionate physician. His death exemplifies his life motto, helping those in need. He is survived by his wife, Renn, his son, Baker, and daughter, Elliott. Although Roger made plans to help meet his family’s need, please consider helping support them in this time of difficult transition and loss by honoring Rogers memory.
