Dr. Michael Bobb Support

Dr. Michael Bobb was in a terrible car accident on Monday, August 21, 2023 in Durham, North Carolina as he was on his way home to Ohio from his job as a hospitalist at Granville Medical Center in Oxford, North Carolina. Within the first week, Mike underwent three life-saving surgeries to repair the extensive internal injuries he incurred from the accident. He is currently at Duke Medical Center in the ICU where he is receiving top-notch care from an incredible team. His wife, Arlie, has been able to be at his bedside since the accident to care for and support him. As you can imagine, with such a serious accident comes a lengthy recovery. Many people have rallied together to provide care and support for the family, including transporting kids to and from school, practices, and games for their young kids. Others have provided meals for the kids and their caretakers to alleviate extra stress. Still others continue to ask how they can help. Mike has five children still in school, three adult children, and four grandchildren who all want their dad/grandpa to get better and get home. As Mike continues to recover, we first and foremost ask for prayer. We put our faith in a big God who has been showing up in Mike’s journey in big, tangible ways. We know that He is in control of every situation, and we thank all of you who have joined us in prayer for the specifics over the past few weeks. If you are unable to give financially, we ask that you please continue to support in prayer. We have seen the result of hundreds of people lifting Mike in prayer, and we want to continue to do so. We decided to open a GoFundMe to benefit Mike and Arlie to help offset the cost of so much of what they will be facing over the next few weeks and months: Medical Bills, Travel expenses, food, supplies, and the like.
