Dr. Malcynski needs our help

Hi My name is Jacqueline and I am fundraising for one of my great mentors and critical care colleagues.

As an amazing colleague and friend, John has provided trauma and critical care service to the community for over 25 years.

He has mentored young physicians throughout his career and has inspired us to strive for success while remaining compassionate and empathetic. Now he needs help from all of us.

John and I stood side by side during the COVID pandemic while most were able to stay home with their families. We were at the bedside taking care of the sickest patients, risking our lives with a virus that took millions of lives around the world.

John is a wonderful husband and father to his son, John Jr. who is a Jazz protege and a bright scholar. John is the sole provider for his family.

John has suffered from cervical stenosis after long days/nights of operating and has had multiple surgeries and continues to manage chronic pain. He will be undergoing his 4th spine surgery on Tuesday and will be unable to return to the ICU for the next 3-6 months. Every little bit will help so that John can focus on resting and recovering after his surgery.
