Dr. loses legs to flesh eating bacteria

This is my family doctor.  A while back he went in to get a skin tag removed at our county hospital.  Shortly thereafter he became very ill.  He had contracted a flesh eating bacteria.  His blood became septic, and all his organs shut down.  By the grace of God, he survived. But his feet did not. Doctors tried their best but could not save them. Both feet had to be removed just below the knee.  Yesterday, a representative from the hospital where he worked came to his house and handed him a termination letter. But the real kick in teeth was his insurance was cancelled at midnight that day.  Please help this wonderful family as they struggle to deal with this.  He will walk again, and he will practice medicine again.  He just needs your help to get through this tough time.
