Dr. Leininger's Fast 40 Fundraiser

Dr. Leininger is turning 40 and his idea of a mid-life crisis is to run a mile on the track as fast as he can! Instead of receiving gifts for this milestone birthday, he wants to use the opportunity to reinvest in his community by making this a fundraiser for Glenwood Park Elementary School, where he currently serves as principal. On his birthday (August 30) at the end of the school day he is going to run a mile on the track and have 600 of his closest friends there to cheer him on! His goal is to run faster than 6 minutes.

Dr. Leininger has set a goal to raise $2,087, which represents one dollar for each week that he has been alive. All of this money will go directly into the Glenwood Park PTA and will be earmarked for Teacher Requests, guaranteeing that your donations go DIRECTLY to teachers and students. If a kid cannot afford a field trip, teachers can request this money to help cover the cost. If teachers want to do something extra and fun for student learning or to reward students for their hard work and great attitude, they can request this money to do that!

As Dr. Leininger looks ahead to entering this next decade, he wants to continue to serve and invest in his community and take care of his own health and wellness.
