After 40 years of being a band director and 32 years at Liberty University, Dr. Stephen Kerr is retiring this year. He has created such a beautiful legacy with the Spirit of the Mountain and the other ensembles he has led over the years. He has impacted countless lives throughout his career, and we want to show him how truly special he is to all of us. We are planning a retirement celebration to make him feel so very loved and honored. While we can never repay him for the influence he has had in all our lives, we want him to know that we will always be so thankful for his Godly leadership and example.

If you are able to give financially, these funds will help pay for the catering, decorations, special events, and gifts for Dr. Kerr. We want to make him feel very special on this day, and we will use all the money raised to do just that!

We will compile the names of everyone who contributed, even if you cannot personally attend the event, and we will give Dr. Kerr a card with the names of everyone who made this event possible!
