Fundraiser to offset Dr. J’s Medical expenses ❤️

Dear friends and well-wishers of the Josephs,
Many of you have reached out and asked how you can help. We wanted to let you know that we have now set up this fundraiser to help offset the cost of medical expenses and rehab for Dr. Cressida LaDonna Greenaway Joseph. Dr. J as she is affectionately known, is the wife of Cuthbert Joseph, mother of Dominique Thelismond, Atirah and Saadia Joseph, grandmother to Elijah Thelismond, mother in-law of Brian Thelismond and the daughter of Bishop Leroy and Rev. Elvina Greenaway.
As you probably already know, in the early hours of September 8th, around the same time her grandson was being born, our precious Dr. J, was admitted to the hospital with a massive brain hemorrhage. She has had multiple brain surgeries and we give thanks to God that she is still with us.
As you can imagine, the journey has been very difficult emotionally for our entire family including the staff at Beacon Dental Group and the Faith Christian Church community.
Yes, we have cried, we are still praying and fasting, and we have all asked “why her?” The answer keeps coming back that only God knows, and in the end, we leave it to God’s will. We continue to trust God for an unusual manifestation of His power, and we continue to say despite everything and in every situation, “Glory be to God!”
Dr. J is still in rehab and periodically goes back to the hospital for specialty care. She has come a long way and although she still has a long way to go in her recovery journey, Dr. J’s improvement is encouraging. Her doctors are very optimistic and have been blown away by her progress thus far. We are believing God for the manifestation of His healing.
Our beloved Dr. Cressida LaDonna Greenaway Joseph is an Entrepreneur, Owner and CEO of Beacon Dental Group, and a professional dentist. She has been featured in the Boston Globe and she has been serving her community for the past 29 years.
In a recent interview on the Defining You podcast, she said that she believes we are all here for a purpose, which is designed to move humanity forward. She exemplified that daily throughout her work and interactions with her patients and church family. She is a woman of faith, an encourager to young adults and she has a special place in her heart for the downtrodden. Everyone who knows her will agree that Dr. J is a beacon of light in the community, always going out of her way to help those around her.
