Only 15% of underprivileged families in Egypt have their children enter higher education.

Thus for the second consecutive year in memory of my loving father, Dr. Hussein Zohdi Fund (In Partnership with Ashanek ya Balady NGO) continued its mission in supporting outstanding students who were interested in joining medical, science, and pharmacy colleges in academic year 2022/2023 and 2023/2024. The support includes tuition, accommodation, meals, costs of materials and educational tools/devices.

Academic Year 2022/2023 we were able to fund 5 students (2 Medicine, 2 Science and 1 Veterinary Medicine);

Academic Year 2023/2024 the Fund supported another 5 students as well( 4 students joined Faculty of Medicine and one student join Faculty of Science) as well as continuing to support students from last year in their second year of study.

Support includes tuition, books, rent, allowance and laptops and will be continued through graduation.
