It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce Liz departed this life unexpectedly on February 28, 2021. She left in her wake huge shoes to fill and a last request.
In lieu of flowers, this fund requests assistance for her family in managing expenses associated with carefully transitioning her Dental practice, providing for the maintenance of their family home, and fulfilling her last will and desire for the family to scatter her ashes in a special place of tranquil beauty.
Despite adversity, our Lizzie graduated from dental school as one of very few Black women. Through her hard work, she opened her own private practice where she lovingly cared for each of her patients, for well over 30 years. With the help of this fund, our family can properly transition her practice to the next generation of Black Women Dentists within the close-knit Hyde Park / Kenwood / South Shore Community.
