On Monday May 17th, My mom Dr. Carmen Perdomo-Serven had to go to the ER after not feeling well since contracting Coronavirus. She was admitted to the hospital with Covid-19 Pneumonia. My two sisters Grecia and Alba also tested positive for covid, they’re all receiving medical treatment. On Tuesday May the 25th my sister Grecia was also hospitalized due complications from Covid-19. 

Venezuela is going through a humanitarian crisis that makes it hard to obtain the medicine required for their recovery and the expenses are very high. We're gathering donations to help pay for my mom and sister’s hospital bills and treatments, that are upwards of $10,000 (equivalent in the local currency). We would also hope to cover the expensive medications, lab tests, and recovery.

My mom is an extremely devoted doctor and mother, she has dedicated her life & career to helping others. My sister Grecia and I run a non profit called “Helping Children in Venezuela” that supports vulnerable kids in our country. 

Every contribution will go a long way in helping them get through a tough time and would be appreciated.

El lunes 17 de Mayo, mi madre, la Dra. Carmen Perdomo-Serven, fue ingresada en la Clínica con neumonía y un cuadro de covid-19. Mis dos hermanas también dieron positivo por covid-19, están recibiendo tratamiento médico. El martes 25 de Mayo, mi hermana Grecia tuvo que ser hospitalizada debido a complicaciones por Covid-19.
Venezuela atraviesa una grave crisis humanitaria, lo cuál dificulta obtener los medicamentos necesarios para su recuperación y eleva desproporcionadamente los gastos médicos.
Mi mamá es una doctora y una madre extremadamente devota que ha dedicado su vida a ayudar a los demás. Mi hermana Grecia y yo somos voluntarias activas de “Helping Children in Venezuela” fundación que apoya a niños de comunidades vulnerables en nuestro país.
