Dr Anthony Bendall - farewell funds

I'm Chris, looking to raise farewell funds for Dr Anthony Bendall who has died in July 2025.

Anthony leaves a legacy as an impassioned human rights campaigner, advocating for HIV, migrants, welfare, disability, and social reform. A champion of others, and the marginalised, Dr Bendall filled his life fighting for those on the periphery.

Anthony never hid from personal challenges and battles, but remained valiant and never stopped caring for others.

Dr Bendall always reached into his own pocket, so this fund is to ensure he gets the send off he deserves from his extended family (his friends and allies). The contribution will go to funeral expenses and also will leave a legacy for his wonderful George, who we all hope will grow into the enormous shoes of Uncle Anthony.
