Donation protected
On December 12th, 2015 Ed Kokoszka passed away suddenly at his home. After doing some yard work on the unseasonably warm day, he went upstairs for a shower. His wife Lori was at work and unfortunately their three children, McKenna, Jayden, and Janina were the ones who found their father in the bathroom.
In addition to the grief of losing their father at their young ages (11, 8, and 5) they are dealing with the trauma of discovering their father. McKenna still cannot use that bathroom, which is the only full bath. She has been showering at neighbors' and friends' houses all this time.
To help the children feel more comfortable in their home, we are asking for donations so the family can remodel the bathroom - to make it look like a completely different space and to hopefully ease the memories of that devestating day.
Any amount that you can donate is greatly appreciated! Also, if you have any special skills in construction, (drywall, electrial, tile, etc...) and would be able to contribute your time and talent to keep the cost down, that would be greatly appreciated too! Please contact Brian Mace at [email redacted] if you can help in this way.
If we pass our goal (or if we have enough volunteer workers to keep the cost below the original goal) additional funds raised will be used for the Children of Edward J. Kokoszka Scholarship Fund - PNC Bank 30 North Bailey Road Thorndale, PA 19372.
