Hi everyone, I’m reaching out because back in May we found out my mom has 2 brain tumors.

We tried to keep high spirits with her medical conditions, hoping things wouldn’t get worse but in the past few months she has lost function on half her body and has been having frequent seizures. She currently has no function of her right hand leg.

Despite that she has been trying to work still. She has been a medical transcriptionist for over 20 years and is still trying to type even with just her one hand. She started applying for disability assistance, but we’ve been told it could take at least five months before she can receive support.

My mom is the most loving supporting person I know. I have always looked up to her through the good and the bad. If it weren’t for her I wouldn’t be where I am today I know that for sure. She has supported me through absolutely everything, and I am doing my best to support her in anyway possible. I’m asking for help in hopes of getting her medical bills paid and getting her grocery bills etc paid so she doesn’t have to stress about funds.

Please, if you can help any way at all I would be beyond grateful. She is my world and I know she would do the same for me. I just want her to be comfortable. I am helping in anyway I can but it’s just not enough.

She has helped so many people. She has given a home to others, along with support and advice. She was “The Mom” of the block. If anyone needed anything she was there for them.
