Trans healthcare saves lives

Hey, I'm Alex (he/they) and I'm trying to fund my gender affirming surgery. The total cost of the surgery is around $20,000, and unfortunately insurance in this country views gender affirming care (live saving medical practices) as voluntary and cosmetic procedures when not applied to cisgender patients. Therefore, I will be paying out-of-pocket. I have to pay about half of the amount of the surgery and then some before the date of surgery, and unfortunately I only have part of that saved up.
