Dear Friends,
Today, I’m reaching out with a plea for help that goes beyond the usual call for kindness. This is a matter of life and survival for a family who has lost everything in the chaos of war. Their story is one that demands our attention, our compassion, and most importantly, our action.
Imagine, for a moment, your home—your sanctuary—reduced to dust. Imagine your children, the most precious beings in your life, suddenly without safety, without warmth, without the simple comforts that make them feel secure. This is the reality for my friends, a family who has fled the unimaginable horrors of Gaza, only to find themselves starting from nothing.
They witnessed the events of the war and miraculously survived it, but they lost everything. Their family was separated, their homes, their work—all was destroyed. They have no possessions, no savings, and their two little girls, barely out of infancy, have nothing to call their own. They’re struggling to find food, clothes, and basic necessities. Their world has been turned upside down, and they’re now fighting to rebuild from the ashes.
You might not know this family personally, but their story is one that transcends borders, languages, and cultures. It’s a story of resilience, of a mother and father doing everything in their power to give their children a future, even when that future seems so uncertain. It’s a story that reminds us of our shared humanity, and of the fact that, no matter where we are in the world, we have the power to help.
You might think your contribution won’t make a difference, but I assure you, it will. Every single donation—no matter how small—will directly impact this family’s ability to survive and start over. It will provide food, shelter, and a glimmer of hope in a situation that feels hopeless.
We live in a world where it’s easy to turn away, to focus on our own lives and problems. But I’m asking you, from the bottom of my heart, not to turn away this time. This is a chance to make a real difference, to be a part of something profoundly good. This family needs us, and we have the power to change their lives.
Please, don’t underestimate the impact you can have. Your donation is more than just money—it’s a lifeline, a gesture of humanity, a reminder that even in the darkest of times, we are capable of incredible compassion.
Let’s come together and show this family that they are not alone, that the world hasn’t forgotten them, and that there is still kindness and hope to be found. Together, we can help them rebuild, and in doing so, we reaffirm the strength of our shared humanity.
Thank you for your generosity, your compassion, and for being a light in their darkness.

Home after war
Abed and Nadine's dream house is destroyed
They were born a few months before the war and they were aspiring to build a future for their children and now they have lost everything, they do not even have clothes or shoes after they had provided them with a beautiful life. Now everything has been destroyed. Their dreams, their future and their lives are completely The twnis
We must all support Abed to build a future for her twin children.
Fear, sadness, separation from family and loved ones, scenes of destruction, hunger and displacement from one place to another, their faces became miserable.
This is the last picture of abed greeting his mother. We hope she is reunited with her family and that this war will end. We must all stand by abed and support him so that he can start a new life with his wife and twin children.
The rest of his family, his mother, father and brothers, are in Gaza, and his friends and loved ones have all been dispersed.
Abed met his wife and children after much suffering and hardship, and now we must stand with them to start a new life for their future and the future of their children.
Help Rebuild a Life Shattered by War
With deepest gratitude
Martina
