Help me afford gender confirmation surgery

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Breandan Dougherty, I prefer Bre in conversation though, and I'm in the process of my mtf transition. Even though I already identify as female, I need help affording gender confirmation surgery. If you wonder why I need surgery if I already identify as female, it's to further solidify my femininity. I keep getting misgendered and it's causing psychological harm, as of now I'm flat-chested and have average-sized hips, if they were to be larger it'd help tell people I'm a girl, I wouldn't have to correct them, and I wouldn't be distressed. I'm currently a college student, so you can imagine my financial situation (broke to clarify), my job doesn't pay me enough to afford it any time soon and I don't personally know anyone who'd just give me the money I need to afford surgeries without anything in return.

Ever since I was little, like five y/o I think, I haven't been comfortable in my own skin. My parents told me I could be anything when I grew up, so I told them I wanted to be a girl. All I remember from their reaction at that moment was the disapproval on my dad's face and my mom brushing it off as if it were a phase and it would just fade with age. My mom assumed wrong, throughout the younger phase of my childhood, before my teenage years I kept my secret desire to be a girl from most. My parents had forgotten I assume, and I only told a few others about it, few accepted me for it, most rejected me for it, this would remain true into my teenage years.

During my teenage years in middle school and high school, there was transphobia all around me, so I kept my desire to transition even more secretive, I never came out about it until my senior year of high school when I started crossdressing to school and practiced changing my voice until my feminine vocalization was better than my previous masculine one. I lost some of my closest friends to their disgust or discomfort but gained a few new ones who were supportive in doing so. It was then that I learned my mom was just as disapproving of me transitioning as my dad was all those years ago, she says she supports it but has worked against me with every step of the process thus far and I'm not sure how my dad feels about it now. It's up to them if they want to accept me as their daughter or not afterward.

The details of the surgery would be including breast and buttocks implants or fat grafting to both areas, which option depends on how large each option could get them. I'm currently a 34-B in bra size with just hormones, I don't think I can get any larger with them, and I'd like to bring that up to 34-D, and I have good-sized thighs and buttocks, but my hips could use more width. The costs for breast and buttock augmentation via fat transfer or via implants both range from $5,000 to $10,000 for each procedure depending on where it's taking place, and how much is being transferred. I won't need anything done facially, my face is already feminine enough, nor an orchiectomy (altering of genitalia for an mtf). I'm also going to change my gender legally on all of my official documents, and possibly change my first name. I already have a new name (Ashley) in mind, I just like the way it sounds, but I might just stick with my birth name (Breandan) and nickname (Bre) for my parent's sake. In the event, that donation funding goes over the goal, or I manage to get the surgeries at a lower cost than I expected, then whatever's left will go to some of my other trans friends. On my campus, I stay in a mixed dorm, and I have a few other friends here who are also transitioning but aren't as far along in the process as I am.

As far as I'm aware there are no charities for transition-related surgeries that you can apply for year-round. Why there isn't, I don't know, trans people, being 0.6% of the population it'd be affordable if enough people cared, or if the surgeries weren't so expensive. there's only a few that you can apply for in short time windows and they're only granted to a select few. getting a surgery grant from those seems unlikely. I understand how not getting my surgery isn't a global crisis, and this only affects me and my mental health, but please if you can help me afford the surgery it'd mean a lot to me. Any amount you could donate would help, there's no real deadline, but the sooner that the goal is reached, the better. If you can't donate please share this across social media to help gain traction with possible donors.
