This is Jorge Kenneth De Leon. A young, promising and well mannered 19 year old. A consistent honor student, he is currently a DOST scholar at UP Diliman taking up B.S. Mathematics. He is diagnosed with Stage 4 Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma April of this year.
He immediately started his treatment last May and finished his 6th chemo session last August. He then had a PET Scan to check the progress of his treatment and started complaining about having bouts of dizziness and headache. His MRI result showed he has brain lesions with primary consideration of metastatic disease.
He is now on his second cycle of another 6 chemo sessions and is prescribed to undergo a bone marrow transplant the soonest possible time.
We've already lost twice to the Big C despite all our family's efforts. We won't give up and will do the same thing this third time.
Right now, we are knocking in your kind hearts to extend any help you can for his Bone Marrow Transplant. We are asked to prepare between 2 - 4 Million Pesos ( $ 40,000 - $ 80,000 ) for this procedure alone.
