Anybody who knows DP knows that he is bulletproof. He never complains, he thinks of everyone else before himself, and never lets anything keep him down….until a couple of weeks ago. We found out that DP has a brain condition called chiarimalformation, and he also has hydrocephalus (where his spinal fluid is in his brain) and there is a blockage. He will be having a lengthy and serious surgery that will keep him down for a long time while he recovers, followed by an unknown amount of physical therapy. Please consider helping our family in our time of need, as he won’t be working, and I will be his full time caretaker, so I will not be working either. Since we’ve been together, he has been an amazing father to my 9 year old daughter, and has never missed a doctors appointment or school meeting or event. He’s been her rock and mine. We can’t live without this amazing man, and we just want to make sure things are taken care of so he can focus on recovery. Thank you!
