Hello. My name is Ruby Rederer and I just got a puppy 2 weeks ago to add to my family. 4 days into owning Willow, she unexpectedly tumbled down our stairs and broke her right back leg. This was totally heartbreaking for us and for her as she’s only 8 weeks old. We have spent all of our savings and paychecks at the emergency vet and have exhausted all measures trying to make sure that her vet appointments are taken care of for the next 6 weeks. She requires a vet to change her bandage every week and that is a lot of funds in itself that we don’t have currently. We have been making it work by pushing off bills and scrounging up hours at work. But unfortunately she does require more appointments and we want to make sure that she receives the care she needs to heal properly. My husband and I are not the type of people to ever reach out for help in tough situations and circumstances, but with it being the holidays we are strapped and not financially equipped to take on this financial hump that life threw our way. Willow already had vet appointments set to get her vaccines and everything a normal puppy needs but that is being pushed back due to her tumble. I’m not expecting anything to be sent. But every little bit helps. Thank you very much.
