I am looking for help with my medical and housing issues for the next 3 months, as I try to get back
on my feet. My goal to raise is $3000 to cover auto insurance, gasoline (to get to and from my appointments),
car smog and registration (due mid March). I also need $500 a month for Rent money or I will not have a place
to live

I currently suffer from Diabetes complications (neuropathy in feet), lower back spasms, shortness in
breath, a dry chronic cough for more than 7 months, and vision problems due to a cataract in my right
eye. On top of all this I have a severe case of sleep apnea.

Back in July/August 2016 I was referred to a Cardiologist by a family doctor due to pressure in chest
and shortness in breath. After waiting for over a month to get in to the Cardiologist I was given a stress
test and an echo-cardiogram. It took 3 more weeks to see the Cardiologist to go over the results ...
stating that my heart was fine but that Lung problems showed up.

I made an appointment once I received the referral from my insurance. The Pulmonary doctor had me do
a Pulmonary Function Test, a CT scan and a Sleep Study. The Function Test showed that I only have 76%
lung function and other lung problems. The CT scan not only showed nodes on my lung, but also Calcification
in my arteries .... and he wants me to see a Cardiologist again. The sleep study should that I stopped breathing
60 times an hour when in light sleep ... but when in deep sleep my breathing stopped 91 times an hour! I have
to go back for another sleep study immediately.

I need Cataract surgery on my right eye as soon as possible, but I will need new glasses after the surgery. I do
not have money for new glasses at this time. I was told that if I wait too long for the surgery that I could lose my
vision in my right eye.

My only current income is $194 a month in food stamps. I have filed for Disability benefits but have been denied
so far as I keep getting the run around between the Cardiologist and the Pulmonary Specialist. Any help that you
and your friends can give so that I can continue seeing my doctors and paying rent will be greatly appreciated. I
stay home and do not go out for fun or to eat ... so all financial help will be strictly for the car (so I can continue
with my doctor visits) and to pay rent (so I won't be homeless). Anything over my goal will go toward a new
pair of glasses so I can have the simple Cataract surgery.
