A Walkerton single mother needs your help!
On January 16th, Kelly Fry suffered a devastating stroke at the young age of 41 leaving her hospitalized in London. Her 20 year old daughter Jasmine and 16 year old son Caleb Goulding are now struggling to cover expenses such as rent, utilities and groceries along with all of the extra travel and parking expenses when visiting their mother in London.
Kelly has a long recovery ahead and there are many expenses facing her and her family. We are seeking donations to help make this difficult time a little easier for Kelly and her children.
On the morning of the stroke Kelly mentioned she wasn’t feeling well and thought she had caught a stomach bug. Later that day her daughter came home and found Kelly incoherent, clammy and called 911.
By the time the paramedics arrived Kelly’s blood pressure was dangerously high and she was rushed Owen Sound Hospital. Upon arrival Kelly was intubated and transported to the University Hospital in London where she remains in the Intensive Care Unit. Kelly is incoherent with left sided weakness and has suffered vision issues.
With your help, the donations generated will help cover some of the expenses this family is facing including rehabilitation, hospital costs (parking, food, travel), living expenses and much more. We wouldn’t ask if the situation wasn’t so dire and we greatly appreciate every donation that comes in.
Kelly is a wonderful mom and lovely person. She always put family first, juggling two jobs as a personal support worker and was always eager to help someone in need. Now it is Kelly who needs our help. Please help spread the word about Kelly, share this post and donate if you able. We would greatly appreciate it if you would please keep Kelly in your prayers.
