If you know Dylan, you know he is remarkable. A karate master in the making, he moves with the agility of a superhero and embraces life with the heart of an angel. He finds joy in nature and all the adventures it offers, and his charisma, gentle spirit, and infectious smile have a way of lighting up every room. Dylan brings laughter, wonder, and unforgettable joy to everyone around him.
As many of you know, Dylan Smith, 8 years old, was recently involved in a serious accident and was hospitalized. While he is finally out of the PICU and hospital he remains in stable condition, his recovery is ongoing, and the road ahead consists of a lot of therapies. While things are uncertain on his progress, Dylan stays strong. The family is taking it one day at a time, anchored by hope, faith, and the support of their community. He is a strong, resilient, and extraordinary boy, and he is fighting with everything he has.
At the moment Dylan needs to build back everything he once had through PT and OT. While insurance has covered a few session they find themselves paying out of pocket. His parents are back at work and juggling this new life of taking care of Dylan and getting him to and from his therapies, routine doctor visits, sometimes more treatments for his breathing.
Tiffany, Brandon, Olivia, and the entire Smith family are deeply grateful for the continued outpouring of prayers, love, and support. Your heartfelt messages, kind gestures, and unwavering encouragement have been a true source of strength as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
