Trent Cassidy’s Expenses
Donation protected
On October 11, 2023 Trent was driving his Camaro when the interior suddenly burst into flames. He was thankfully able to jump from the moving vehicle but still suffered from major burns to his upper body. He was rushed in an ambulance to Mercy St. Louis ER and later that night admitted into the Mercy Burn Unit. Trent suffered from third degree burns on his entire right arm and hand, as well as second degree burns on his left hand and forearm, neck, back and face. On October 16, 2023 Trent had skin graft surgery on his third degree burns (entire right arm and top of right hand) where they took skin from the top of both right and left thighs and transferred the skin to his arm. After a 12 day stay in the hospital’s burn unit, he was finally able to go home to recover in the comfort of his own home. He will have weekly visits for the next six to eight months with his surgeon and team of doctors to evaluate his grafts and burn sites as well as months of physical therapy to regain full mobility of his right arm. Unfortunately, Trent had started a new job three weeks prior to his accident and is uninsured. At the moment we are unsure when he will be able to return to his job.
Any amount you are willing to contribute to help go towards Trent’s medical bills and other expenses would be greatly appreciated. If you are unable to contribute money at this time please share with your friends and family. Thoughts and prayers are also welcomed. Trent thanks you from the bottom of his heart for any help! ❤️
