Help Mala support our Dying Friend.

This is an urgent and immediate call for financial help.

At the end of last year our dear mutual friend was diagnosed with cancer. He has no immediate family, Mala being a close friend and the only one close at hand has become his supporting angel.

His condition has dramatically deteriorated since May and now with further complications, treatment is no longer an option. Palliative care and high level pain relief is now the situation.

Mala has been on the case sorting out care and support ever since. This is a big job and slow process getting what is needed in place.

This has meant Mala has not been able to work, her own business has had to be put aside while she spends her days on the phone to health care professionals, land lords, taking our friend to hospital appointments, filling in Government forms, emotional and practical support, persistent follow up for getting things in place, calls and visits at all times as our friend attempts to cope on his own while this is all happening.

Not having been able to work for the past two months has left Mala in a precarious situation. We don’t know how long her help will be needed in this way, which is creating further stress.

I am one of a few close friends doing what we can to support from a distance, along with a friend and neighbour who is called on regularly.

Our friend is a Sanyasin, devotee of Osho, a beautiful soul and someone we all love dearly.

Financially our friends needs are being met at this time, but it’s Mala who has become his immediate first port of call taking responsibility of his care and support who needs financial help.

So at this time dear friends and wider community we come to you to ask for your financial help and support; to offer what ever you can afford.

To help give Mala some ground to support our friend in his last phase of life.
