The Callaghan Family

Hello everyone we are Brianna and Andrew the sister and brother of Jessica and Rebecca Callaghan, and the proud aunt and uncle of their baby Stevie Rose. Most of you probably know their story but for those who don’t let us explain. On September 15, 2023, our beautiful niece Stevie was born and what should’ve been the most incredible time in our lives has been a difficult road, taking a toll on the entire family and becoming an unimaginable reality for Rebecca and Jess. As a first-time mother we’ve witnessed the exhaustion, discouragement, and feelings of defeat both Rebecca and Jess have been experiencing. Stevie was born ten weeks early and has had multiple complications since birth. From her date of birth until October 29th, she was a patient in the NICU of Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Later on November 8 until the 14th, she was admitted to Midhudson Regional Hospital. She was then airlifted to Westchester Medical Center on November 17th and remained there until the 28th. On December 6th, Stevie stopped breathing once again and was transported to Westchester Medical Center and once again Jessie and Rebecca sit in the hospital feeling like their world is crumbling. Neither one of them have been able to work in order to be at their daughter’s bedside. Anything that can be spared is more than appreciated. As we know, the bills do not slow down for anything so any money we receive will be used to support them so that they can stay with their precious girl.
