Cookie was born in Korea on July 15, 2015. She was adopted and brought to the states on February 1, 2016. After getting spayed, her nose seemed to be congested and her temperature seemed elevated. We took her back to the hospital and was told she may have an infection in her nose and was given antibiotics. This condition became chronic with the presence of constant running of the nose. So with the recommendation of her vet, we took her to see an internal med specialist. He noticed Cookie barely breathe through her nose and suggested getting examed to see what was causing the blockage. He suggested three causes. 1) foreign object, 2) inner growth, or 3) scarring of the hole in the back of her nose. In order for us to help Cookie breathe normally again, we will need get a CT scan of her nose which will be follow up by an appropriate treatment plan.
