This church has a lot of history and memories. It was built in 1859 with logs that was floated down the Kentucky River from Breathitt County and was pulled to the current location by teams of horses. The church hasn’t been flooded this bad since 1978-1979. We have lost almost everything that the church owned, pews, song hymnals, appliances, sound system,furniture, both inside and out HVAC units and some of the duct work, and carpet throughout the church, etc. If you could find it in your heart to donate any amount it would be greatly appreciated.
