Last year Downtown Magnets high school basketball team SUNS made history by winning the CIF Championship for the very first time. Under the dedicated leadership of Coach JC who has been with the program for 5 years, our players proved what passion, discipline, and teamwork can achieve.

This season, our team is working harder than ever to build on that success. But we need your help.

What We’re Raising For

Your donation will go directly toward:

    •    Uniforms – game jerseys and practice gear

    •    Backpacks & warm up gear – so our players can represent their school with pride

    •    Tournament fees – giving our team the chance to compete at the highest level

These young athletes put in countless hours of training, balancing academics, practices, and games, all while representing our community with sportsmanship and heart. For many of them, basketball is more than just a sport – it’s a pathway to college opportunities, lifelong friendships, and valuable life lessons.
