Downsell Primary are going to Legoland!

Downsell Primary is a vibrant and diverse 2 form entry school located in Leyton, London.

The school places a strong emphasis on providing opportunities and memorable experiences for all of our children, through cultural capital opportunities and SMSC development. The proportion of our children on the SEND register, experiencing deprivation and/or are entitled to free school meals, is very high. These are the very reasons, why the school believes in providing a range of experiences for all, no matter what barrier they may face.

The last two academic years we have successfully taken our children, from Reception – Year 6 on a visit to the Canvey Island beach and a tour of London’s famous landmarks. Those trips not only built on our cultural capital and SMSC opportunities, the children also had lots of fun!

Our last fundraiser through Go Fund Me, for Canvey Island beach, raised a spectacular amount of £954 – thank you again to everyone that donated to this.

This year we are planning to take our children to Legoland and we are asking for your help with fundraising to go towards the costs of coaches and entry for all.
