Hey all, our family is reaching out for some help. Recently Rocco’s truck was stolen from the dealership while awaiting service for an oil leak. The police have no leads on locating it. His truck was his personal truck that he used 99% of the time for work. We’ve had to rent something similar so he can continue to work and tow equipment for his job, as his job is our main source of income. He works for a gas company where he performs fire mitigation work around high pressure gas lines in rural areas of the Rockies, as well as in the metro area. We know this is not sustainable and we need to get him into something permanent. Renting a 1 ton truck is far more expensive than our monthly payment was for his stolen truck. Unfortunately our investment into this truck is lost and we don’t have the means right now to purchase a new truck, along with raising two kids, being days away from welcoming a third child, and just having moved in the last week when it was stolen. He worked so hard to get that truck. It was always his dream to own a ford dually, and through everything he has been through in his life, he made it a reality. We had so many memories with that truck. Taking our boys on countless camping trips, going on our honeymoon last summer, and starting a new career for him that was mainly possible because of his truck. Best case scenario insurance and GAP will pay off our loan but, we’ll be back to square one with no vehicle. If we cannot get another truck we don’t know what would happen with his job. O’Meara won’t take any responsibility, and we have reached out to a few attorneys that doesn’t seem promising. If you can contribute it would mean the world, and we would be forever grateful. If we had any other options we would exhaust them first but unfortunately we are are out of options.
