Hi Everyone,
Quick update. I have been approved for chest surgery with Dr. Kutz in Portland, ME at Plastic & Hand! This is awesome, and I'm excited that my insurance will cover this procedure. I know most of you know that I have been trying to get chest surgery for about 6 years now. It is finally within my grasp. I have one last hiccup to overcome. I require a down payment of $1500 which would be my deductible. I thought I would be able to use my FSA/HRA card to make this downpayment. I was able to use my remaining FSA funds on my downpayment. But the HRA card can only be used to pay for perscriptions. Any medical expenses have to be filed as a claim after insurance is billed.
I can't schedule my surgery date until I have made this payment.
So, there's where some of you may come in. If you are able, would you mind assisting me with hitting my goal for my down payment? Even just $5 will get me a little closer! I can say with confidence that once I have filed my HRA claim and gotten the funds back, I will pay each of you back! I have tried getting a load, but was not able to. I understand everyone is tight on cash these days, so even if you can't send me a little money, if you can share it will help just as much.
