Dover Library Technology for Kids

The Dover Free Public Library has been struggling financially for years.  The technology in our Children's Room is outdated or non-existent.  The library budget cannot cover the cost of upgrading technology.  Donations of funds for laptops, tablets, a smart board, projector, television and the supplies needed to hook these up in the Children's Room will provide the children in our community with the tools they need to succeed in school and as citizens.  Robotics kits and supplies for STEAM programs will help kids compete with children in other communities.

The mission of the  Friends of the Dover Free Public Library is to raise funds for the needs of the library community.  We will be working with The ESCUCHA! Youth Mentorship Program to renovate the Children's Room and technology is a big part of that.  We are also partnering with local organizations in order to meet our goals.  Thank you.
