Thomas Lambert Welch of Atlanta, GA died suddenly and unexpectedly on July 22, 2026. He is the beloved son of Drs. Dennis Welch and Donna Callan; cherished brother of Matthew Welch and Connor Welch; and devoted father to his two year old son Dove Thomas Hollis. He was 26 years old.

In lieu of flowers, family and friends are invited to contribute to an education fund for Tommy’s son, The Dove Thomas Hollis Educational Fund.

This fund will support Dove throughout his life, whether that means school supplies, tutoring, a particular school that fits his needs, college, or any other path of learning he chooses to pursue. Tommy was a lifelong learner, writer, artist, and activist, and this fund is a way to make sure Dove always has the resources to pursue whatever form that takes for him.
