Doula’s Path to Midwifery: Your Help Matters
Donation protected
Hello Friends & Family,
With over 10 years of supporting families as a doula, I’ve dedicated my life to taking care of others. In my primary role as a doula, I value creating safe, supportive birth spaces for my clients. I am excited to announce that I am finally able to finish pursuing my interest in becoming a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM)!
I truly believe that midwifery is both a service and a calling and I am seeking communal support from those who feel called to assist me in raising $10,000 to cover tuition for my 1st year, books, and supplies for midwifery school. My recent acceptance to Mercy in Action College of Midwifery has me encouraged that I will be able to serve my community in an even greater capacity. Your donation will enable my vision as a future CPM to come true. My goals as a midwife involve minimizing birth trauma, bridging ancient birthing techniques with modern healthcare, and reducing maternal health disparities.
I've known since childhood that I wanted to deliver babies, but like some I didn’t take the most direct path to immediately pursue a career in midwifery. Instead of diving straight into my professional calling, I was called to be a parent first. Giving birth at the age of 18 during my first semester of college catapulted me from adulthood to parenthood, drastically shifting my approach to life. Blessed with an incredible son, who is achieving high marks in college, I am grateful and excited to announce that I am finally able to finish pursuing my interest in becoming a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM). Your donation will not only benefit me but aid our community of hopeful future parents! Thank you for any donation or time spent sharing with friends and family.
Any uplifting voice given to birth work is moving the field in the right direction!
