Doug's Journey to Recovery Needs You

On August 31, 2024, Doug was enjoying his time off at the farm and throughout the day started feeling weak. Doug suffered a heart attack, followed by surgery. Just days later, he went into cardiac arrest, was placed on life support for seven days, and also suffered a stroke. Over the course of his recovery, he underwent three additional surgeries due to blood clots. Doug spent a total of 28 days in the hospital and rehabilitation.

As a result, we are facing overwhelming medical expenses, along with the costs of making our home more accessible, including renovations to our bathroom and other areas to accommodate Doug's needs.
