Welcome to our GoFundMe campaign! We're thrilled to introduce you to Douglasaurus, a larger-than-life dinosaur with an even bigger heart. Douglasaurus is on a mission to spread compassion, generosity, and kindness to children across the United States, starting right here at Willamette Elementary. We're excited to bring his heartwarming adventures to life through a captivating children's book series that will inspire young readers everywhere.

About the Project:

Douglasaurus may call Willamette Elementary home, but his message of kindness knows no bounds. Standing at an impressive 20 feet tall with a warm, smiling face, Douglasaurus is the perfect ambassador for compassion and generosity.

Through a series of ten heartwarming books, children will follow Douglasaurus on his adventures as readers learn important lessons about friendship, acceptance, and the power of kindness. Douglasaurus was named after our son Douglas, who passed away in a frontover car accident in 2007. Since then, the Douglasaurus has welcomed thousands of young boys and girls into his home at Willamette Primary. Consider supporting Kids and Cars Safety Organization.

Our Goal:

We’re aiming to raise funds to write, illustrate, and publish these books, with the ultimate goal of sharing Douglasaurus’s message with children across the country. Your contribution will help us bring these stories to life and ensure that Douglasaurus becomes a beloved symbol of kindness for the next generation.
