Douglas S. K. Chan Memorial Fund
It is with a heavy heart that close family and friends announce the passing of Douglas S.K. Chan.
Douglas was the most generous and loving person with a heart of gold. He was the glue that brought so many great humans together. We all enjoyed his amazing parties and special dinners that he hosted. He taught us how to live our most authentic lives. He would teach you mah-jong, and make you give him the winning piece, just for a laugh. He would pour you some of his favorite French wine and insist we order more. Douglas was the life of the party! He will be forever missed and always honored for the beautiful soul he was to so many.
As a tribute to Douglas's love for The San Francisco Chronicle - an Obituary will be written in his honor. Douglas's dear friends are currently organizing a Memorial Celebration honoring Douglas's life at The Morris in San Francisco. Details TBD.
