In Memory of Douglas Reimer

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we share that Doug has reached the end of his battle with pancreatic cancer and kidney failure. It has been asuch a shock to the family to have him diagnosed on 6/15/2023 and to see him decline so rapidly. He was a remarkable individual who touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a loving husband, a devoted father, and a loyal friend. As a dedicated husband, Doug shared a deep and profound love for his wife, Jaime. Their bond was unbreakable and their love was a beacon of hope and strength throughout their journey together. Doug was her rock, providing unwavering support and comfort during the most challenging times. In fact, they have been facing one of the most challenging times of their lives. In addition to Doug’s sudden illness, their son Ethan spent the past year battling complications from a genetic mutation that impacted his heart and is now on the national registry to be a heart recipient and undergo a transplant.
As a father, Doug, was a constant source of love, guidance, and encouragement to his children and he wanted nothing more than to see Ethan receive his transplant before he passed. Doug loved both Ethan and Ian unconditionally.
We are establishing this account to support Jaime and her children as they face the heartbreak of losing a husband and father in addition to the long road of Ethan’s transplant journey. The funds will go to support the family with any associated expenses so that they can focus on grieving, healing and supporting each other.
We appreciate all your love and support during this difficult time and your donations will certainly help a family who has faced more challenges than most in a short period of time.
