Douglas Moore Memorial Fund
Donation protected
On January 16th friends, family and many in the Buchanan community lost a dear friend, Douglas Moore due to COVID. Doug was 61 years young. He is survived by his wife and one of my dearest lifelong friends Kelly Moore. Kelly is handling the loss of her husband, funeral expenses and now the medical bills are starting to come in and the cost is extensive. She’s a strong lady but she needs help from friends and family to lift her up in this difficult time. Please consider donating. Even the smallest donation will help.
Doug was a 1977 graduate of Buchanan High School and went on to work for FedEx as a truck driver for 20 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle and, most of all, friend. Doug enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time in his barn. The loss of this man will not only be felt by his family but by the entire community. He will be fondly remembered for his love of Jif peanut butter, and he will forever be the peanut butter to Kelly’s jelly. They had the most inspiring love story based on a foundation of friendship. Their relationship and love for one another knew no bounds and it reached out to everyone around them.
