Dougie’s Tour de 4 fundraiser in support of Kareen

Dougie Bruce is organizing this fundraiser to benefit Breast Cancer Now.

On Sunday 7th Sept 25 I will be participating in the inaugural Tour de 4 charity cycle ride organized by Sir Chris Hoy. The aim of Tour de 4 is to increase awareness of people living with stage 4 cancer. Five UK cancer charities will be supported by participants in the Tour de 4. I have chosen to raise funds for Breast Cancer Now https://breastcancernow.org/ in support of Kareen who was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. I hope to raise £1000 (my initial target was £500 which was passed in 24 hours) for this charity and would really appreciate it if you would consider making a donation to this cause.

I have opted to ride the longest route which has the following description on the Tour de 4 webpage: “For those seasoned riders who love a challenge, the 56-mile red ride will test your fitness and determination. It’s a great way to push your limits while riding for a cause that matters.”

56 Miles Red Route

The route starts and finishes at The Sir Chris Hoy velodrome in the east end of Glasgow and follows a circular route to the north of the city. As well as covering a total distance 56 miles the route includes 3269 ft of assent.
