If you've ever spent five minutes with DOUG & LINDA HILL you knew they were different.... truly genuine, loyal and honest people. If you were privileged to spend more than five minutes with either of them, chances are they are someone you consider to be your friend. That's who they are!!! True friends to so many people! If you are like me, I know you want to help them right now.
We would all love to make a trip to MD Anderson just to hug them and make sure they know how special they are to us! We can't do that because Doug is in a special area that only allows his family to see him THROUGH a GLASS wall. Even his precious wife and incredible children can't hug him right now. As helpless as I know we all feel at this time... WE aren't HELPLESS in this fight. WE CAN HELP!!! YOU CAN HELP and I CAN HELP!!
Every dollar donated will help!!! Doug and Linda face months of treatments and trips to MD Anderson. Every day they are paying to survive at MD Anderson ($12 per day to park - $24 if Sara or Courtland are there, as well)... they are still paying for their home, livestock and living expenses here at home. This fight will not be won in a day, week or even a month.... this fight will be won battle after battle and only God knows how many battles are ahead.
Thankfully, Doug is a FIGHTING TIGER :) and even our rivals know that Tigers ALWAYS win IN THE VALLEY!!! Not sure why they are checking his red blood cells when I'm pretty sure his blood runs purple and gold anyway!!!
