In the early morning hours of July 4th, 2018 a blood vessel exploded on the right side of Doug Blesius' brain causing a Stroke.  The immediate effect of this was massive damage to the surrounding cranial tissue.  Paralysis of the left side of his body was instantaneous. The long-term effects are still to be seen.
Those who are lucky enough to know Doug or to have worked with him over the years, already know what a tragedy this is. Doug has been a lifelong Soundman and all-around Music Freak, having worked for Bands such as Mr. Blotto and Dick Holiday as well as Corporate work with Diversified Audio Group.
While it is impossible to predict his medical future, realistically it looks like a long road of Rehab and Occupational Therapy, which as we all are aware, come with significant costs.
