As some of you may know, my dad, Doug Burtoft, was diagnosed with Pulmonary Fibrosis around 2 years ago. Pulmonary Fibrosis is a condition in which scarring to the lungs occurs, and it continues to worsen overtime. At this time, there is no cure for Pulmonary Fibrosis. My dad is currently using oxygen 100% of the time, and due to this and other health issues, he is unable to work. He has been noted as being a good candidate for a lung transplant, but one thing that is standing in his way of being placed on the transplant list is finances. He has been a patient at Shands Hospital at the Univeristy of Florida, and they would like to see my dad have 3,500 dollars saved before he can take the next step towards getting a lung transplant. Any amount you are able to donate is very much appreciated, and even if you are unable to donate, please keep my dad in your thoughts and prayers! Also, if you could share this on your Facebook page, that would be helpful as well! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
