Hi, my name is Doug; Father of three, Poppa to two beautiful Grand Daughters.

I never thought I would find myself in this situation, but here I am. Since the end of December 2022 I have spent more time in hospitals than in my home. I have been diagnosed with six different conditions, one seriously life threatening. Because of this I had to resign from my 15 year career in March of this year. I have been out of work since, living off of my savings and portions of my retirement. I also had to sell my motorcycle. When those funds ran out, two very generous people close to me helped me through August and September.

So here I am, in uncharted waters. I am facing eviction. I have no funds to pay for rent or ancillary things such as a cell phone and utilities, etc. Thanks to the state I have been awarded a LINK card so at least I can buy food.

I will get back on my feet, but it could take several months due to my condition and treatments. This is a cry out for help to get me through this unexpected and terrible time in my life. Every little bit would help.
