Doug White (F3 Waffle House) Medical Costs

Donation protected

On August 1, 2019, Doug White was in a terrible bike accident.  Doug was life-flighted to the University of Nebraska Medical Center.   He is being treated for a fractured spine and damaged spinal cord.  Currently, we don't know Doug's prognosis, but we do know that he has a long road of recovery.

Doug is an important member of F3Omaha - his workout group.  His F3 buddies affectionally call Doug, "Waffle House."  Doug is tough.  He works out year-round in the brutal Nebraska weather - rain, snow, heat and cold.  His F3 brothers are spearheading a campaign to raise money for his medical expenses.  Our initial goal was $4,000 and through the generosity of many people we achieved that goal in 48 hours.  We now seek to raise $10,000, which is the cost of his family's annual deductible and a portion of the out of pocket medical costs  .  We hope to go beyond this goal and cover future medical costs.

This accident happened the day before his wife's birthday.  If you know Doug, it is no surprise that his main concern while being treated by the paramedics, was getting home for his wife's birthday.  "Waffle House" is the combination of Mr. Rogers and Batman.  He is always helping others with kindness and generosity.  Now, we seek to help Doug and his family.  Thank you for your generosity!
