Hi, my name is Ed Tatelbaum and I am fundraising for my longtime best friend Doug Tyree. Doug and I met 42 years ago at age 13 and have been friends since. He was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon and liver cancer. Many of you know Doug as the owner of the Norwood Bicycle Depot and one of, if not the best, bike mechanics on the planet. Doug is currently the only employee of the bike shop and, with his recent diagnosis, has been forced to close temporarily while he focuses on his treatment and chemotherapy which starts in the coming week. All funds raised go directly to Doug and his wife Jean to cover everyday expenses including rent, utilities, food, and medical expenses not covered by insurance. Doug has been there when we needed him making those last minute repairs or major bike overhauls to keep us on two wheels and now he needs us to be there for him.
