Doug Shelton Funding to See

My name is Brad and this is a picture of a very good friend of mine named Doug Shelton. In November 2010 he lost his site due to a condition created by Sleep Apnea which caused him to go legally Blind. He can see shadows and light changes. He has very recently discovered a new device available for people of his condition to be able to see. They are a device that resembles glasses an for the first time in 8 years he was able to see very clearly. He was even reading an eye chart across the room. They are however very expensive and I am asking for donations to raise the finds to purchase these glasses that will help him change his life. Because of his blindness he has last his job and lives by himself and barely making ends meet. I would like to help Doug to improve his situation and possibly be able to get a job if he has these glasses. They cost around $9,500 and he is not able to afford them. Any donation would be appreciated.
